There is little doubt that the former and traditional Republican Party no longer exists, so let's stop referring to it by that name and call it by a more appropriate name like the American Nazi Party or ANP. As we get closer to the 2024 election, the ANP Gestapo formally know as the Freedom Caucus led by Frau Green and Herr Gates, have been endorsing congressional candidates based on a single requirement. The candidate must agree to undergo a spinalectomy if elected. In today's MAGA universe, no elected ANP member can have a backbone.

Ah, yes. Then there is Margerie Taylor Green. This woman is the poster child for the abject ignorance that pervades the MAGA movement. I am sure that she would likely fail to correctly answer the six questions on the basic citizenship civics test necessary to become a naturalized American citizen let alone understand international politics or her own responsibilities as a member of the House of Representatives.

Sunday, April 7, 2024:   Going down hill with no bottom in sight!
In all the years I have been on this earth, there has not been a time where I have felt a greater level of despair. Each time I think I have seen a new low in the behavior of some Americans, they manage to sink even deeper. I feel like we've reached a point where there are no longer words to cover the breadth and depth to which some of my fellow citizens have sunk. In a few short years, they have managed to significantly damage a democracy that has been the envy of the world.

There have always been forces in the shadows that have worked to undermine the good of the common man for the gain of a few. The Federalist Society and the Heritage Foundation are the poster organizations that are now at the forefront of dismantling our Republic with the goal of rebuilding our country as an autocracy. It has been years in the making, but with today's social media tools and the help of a number of foreign actors, they have managed to dupe a large enough segment of our electorate to make their goals feasible.

It is incredibly sad that we have a portion of the electorate for whom facts no longer matter. People who through ignorance or stupidity, are willing to allow a group of truly evil people the opportunity to dismantle our system of government and replace it with something that will not in any way shape or form benefit them or anyone but a few of the obscenely rich.

I feel like there is a whole segment of our society is driving down the highway at 70 miles per hour looking at social media on their phone as they drive off a cliff.
