Wednesday, May 2, 2018: Truth – May It Rest In Peace (or not)
Why does the Trumpster continue to maintain an 82% approval rating among Republicans despite the fact that he has made more than 2,400 false or misleading statements during his first 400 days in office? The answer my friends is simple. His supporters want to believe. Their loyalty is canine in its uncritical affection and because of that, they are gullible. Because they want to believe, they do believe in everything and anything that the Trumpster says and the Trumpster uses that to his advantage. Like the Pied Piper of Hamelin, our rat catcher in chief uses the magical power of his lies to lure his supporters away from the truth.
For the Trump supporter, their political partisanship is their belief system. The Republican party has become a cult whose leadership consists of right wing extremists and fascists. The evangelical members of the Republican party are the worst, for they have foregone their faith in favor of idolatry. They worship the false god sitting on the golden commode.

Wednesday, May 2, 2018: ICE - Trump's Schutzstaffel
Every fascist leader needs an SS and for Trump it is ICE. For those who don't quite remember Hitler's SS, here is a primer from Wikipedia. The Schutzstaffel or SS was a major paramilitary organization under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party (NSDAP) in Nazi Germany, and later throughout German-occupied Europe during World War II. The two main constituent groups were the Allgemeine SS (General SS) and Waffen-SS (Armed SS). The Allgemeine SS was responsible for enforcing the racial policy of Nazi Germany and general policing.
The SS was the organization most responsible for the genocidal killing of an estimated 5.5 to 6 million Jews and millions of other victims in the Holocaust. The SS was also involved in commercial enterprises and exploited concentration camp inmates as slave labor.
In 2003, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) was created under the Department of Homeland Security. ICE enforces the United States' immigration and customs laws, uses investigative techniques to apprehend and detain those suspected of violating them, and then deports many of these individuals. The Office of Detention and Removal Operations (DRO), housed within ICE, oversees the detention and deportation of immigrants taken into custody by ICE. Currently, ICE detains immigrants in fifteen detention centers (including privatized facilities), in state and local jails, in juvenile detention centers, and in shelters. These detention centers are the U.S. version of concentration camps.
According to the Global Detention Project, the United States possesses the largest immigration detention system in the world. Several human rights organizations, including Amnesty International and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), and a series of reports made by the New York Times have cited concerns with ICE's management of these detention centers. Reports refer to instances of human rights abuse and inadequate or unprofessional medical care in these detention facilities. Such reports have also publicized the death of several immigrants in detention and have accused ICE of covering up this information.
My question are these, if he doesn't get his border wall and throws one of his hissy fits, will he lash out at legal immigrants from Mexico, Central and South America, and throw them in detention centers too? And how far away are we from rounding up every Muslim American and throwing them into a Trump detention center?
